Simon Buckingham Shum: Professor of Learning Informatics
Simon Buckingham Shum is a professor of Learning Informatics at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He completed his PhD at the University of York, UK. He has published worked about the potential of the World Wide Web, interactive multimedia and AI, for online distance learning. Buckingham Shum is the co-founder of the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR). He is also known for his work with the Connected Intelligence Centre (CIC) at UTS.
