He earned his Ph.D. in Learning and Cognition from Columbia University, and his MBA in Information Systems and Instructional Design from Drexel University. As a frequent keynote speaker, he prides himself in his ability to translate scientific findings into practical recommendations for talent development professionals. Will created LTEM, the Learning-Transfer Evaluation Model, as a replacement for the Kirkpatrick-Katzell Four-Level model of learning evaluation. He is the author of the award winning book, Performance-Focused Learner Surveys: Using Distinctive Questioning to Get Actionable Data and Guide Learning Effectiveness and the founder of the Debunker Club, an international group dedicated to ridding the profession of learning myths.
