Dr. Maya Israel is an associate professor of Educational Technology and Computer Science Education in the School of Teaching and Learning at the University of Florida. She also serves as the director of two organizations - CSEveryone: The Kenneth C. Griffin CS for All Education initiative and the Creative Technology Research Lab.
Dr. Israel received her Ph.D. in Special Education in 2009 from the University of Kansas.
Her focus is on strategies to help students who struggle to succeed in STEM subjects, especially those in special education.
