Dylan Arena

Dr. Dylan Arena serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Data Scientist for McGraw Hill's School division. He earned his Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Technology Design, along with advanced degrees in cognitive science and education. His background gives him an unusual perspective in that he understands both the technical and educational sides of creating products, that actually work for learners.

Dr. Arena co-founded Kidaptive, which illustrates his interest in how games can be used in teaching and learning. He is particularly drawn to data-based approaches to education and technology, specifically how AI can be integrated into learning environments.
