Eric C. Sheninger is widely recognized as a leader in educational technology and digital innovation. He began his career as a science teacher before serving as principal of New Milford High School in New Jersey, where he helped transform the school into a nationally recognized model for digital learning. Today, he works as Senior Fellow at the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE) and leads Aspire Change EDU, where he partners with schools and districts on leadership, culture, and innovation.
Sheninger holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Salisbury University, a bachelor’s in marine/environmental science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and a master’s in educational administration from East Stroudsburg University. His best-known book, Digital Leadership: Changing Paradigms for Changing Times, has been cited widely in research and is considered a foundational resource for school leaders. He has also written Learning Transformed, BrandED, and Disruptive Thinking in Our Classrooms.
