Olaf Sundin is Professor of Information Studies at Lund University (since 2012). He earned his doctorate from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2003. Sundin leads the RE-SEARCH Project, which examines how young people’s search strategies evolve within today’s AI-infused information infrastructure. He is also program chair for the Search Engine and Society Network (SEASON) and a member of the Nordic Disinformation Resilience Network. His research centers on how disinformation and artificial intelligence shape information practices, the broader datafication of society, and the governance and control of information.
